Hello everyone,

I started this blog to share and gain experiences on how suppliers can proactively manage customer expectations when one or more of the customers for the supplier are involved in a merger, acquisition or spin off. There is ample literature to help the merging entities manage merger and acquisitions process. I am trying to get any information that views such transactions from the perspectives of suppliers.

Please contribute.

Regards
-Ryan

Obviously this varies from industry to industry. I am interested in learning about experiences of people working in industries such as telecommunication service providers, as well as utilities.

I thought that I will share some useful information about mergers. A merger is the Union of two or more commercial interests and/or corporations. The new entity is a successor of the original entity.

-Might result in a change of corporate officers
-Might result in a name change
-Will result in a change in ownership
-No interruption or change to the physical service
